In a blind test of a full board, I can't really say if I'd notice a difference between these and traditional Gat Browns that've been lubed. Some people enjoy the process of lubing switches. I'm not one of those people, so the price difference over stock Gateron Browns to me is well worth the cost, especially if you don't have the supplies to lube switches already yourself.
My only real gripe is that my batch, to varying degrees, had quite a few squeaky and/or pingy switches(~5-15 out of 115). In my experience that's not too uncommon when buying any bag of loose switches, so I'm not too bothered. I just thought factory lubed switches would be a little more consistent. I won't speculate whether this is common or a 'problem' with Gat Pros because I'm a sample size of one. I chalked it up to luck of the draw. I'd recommend going with the "5 Extra Switches" option in any case.
